Hello,
We checked our subscription database to the Calgary
Herald and found two articles from August of 1995 relating
to swans at the zoo. (The articles we found were from August
23 and August 25, 1995, and related to the removal and death
of a swan from the zoo.)
You can access the Calgary Herald database online for
free with your library card. To begin, go to our website at:
http://calgarypubliclibrary.com-Click on the "E-Library" tab at the top of the page
-Select "Canadian" under "Subject find"
-Select "Canadian Newsstand" from the list of databases
-You will be asked to sign in with your library card number
and PIN
-The next page that comes up should say "Proquest" at the
top
-Click on the "Publications" tab at the top
-Click on the letter C at the top, and scroll down to the
"Calgary Herald - Full Text" database.
We used the search terms SWAN CALGARY ZOO, and this
