  Been reading the L E Modesitt "Saga of Recluse. So far all
these books were in the EPL. Now I need to read "Scion of
Cyador" and it is not available.... Please don't leave me in
suspense! I am unable to find this book on your shelves and
please get a copy so I can sleep at night! (name removed)

Hello and thank you for your question about the series: The saga of Recluce.

We checked one of our databases, NoveList, to find a complete list for this series and it appears we are missing a few of the books, including the Scion of Cyador. We will send this information to our fiction librarian for re-ordering. In the mean time, the best option for you is to request this book on Interlibrary loan. Here is some information on how to do put in a request:

To request a book, microfilm reel, or newspaper photocopy that is not currently available at the Edmonton Public Library, please visit the following website and fill out the appropriate form:

A faster alternative to the form above is to search and find the item is available from any of the members of the Alberta Library:

If you locate your item in the Alberta Library, click on "Request this item" and select Edmonton Public Library as your library. Then, proceed to fill out the request form and select your preferred branch pick up location.

Please note that it may take the Interlibrary Loan service three to six weeks from the time of request to obtain your materials.
