what do most people use to line a jewellery cabinet?

I am looking for medium/fine flexible wire that can be sewn into a garment and while in the garment can be reshaped and it will keep the new shape. (I want to use it in a large cowl collar) I have searched the internet and cannot find it, as I know it exists. I tried on a hat once that had this property. I have tried millinery supplies to no avail. Can you help? Warmly Margery

Hi: I asked if you knew where to go to access flexible wire... I was sent to Michael's! Heh, I have searched every store remoting resembling fabric and crafts in Calgary. I have searched the internet for hours, under flexible wire, millinery supplies, shaping wire, boning, reshaping wire, hat making, craft wire, memory wire, sewing notions, and tailoring supplies.
