Question 84727 asked on 2011-10-05 22:46:27

Hello. My friend sent me a link to a few weeks ago (unfortunately it has been removed from the Youtube) about the existence and encounter with 'uncontacted tribes'. I found an article that talks about these 'encounters' (http://slatest.slate.com/posts/2011/06/23/_uncontacted_amazon_tribe_brazilian_government_confirms_existenc.html) but, am not sure if this is all made up or something 'for real' -are there really tribes that have been secluded/live unknown??. Curiosity is getting the best of me. I would appreciate your help on this matter!! Thank you.

Question 84754 asked on 2011-10-07 11:04:22

I am looking for information on folklore/old wives tales, but more specifically on the meaning of when it rains while the sun is still shining. I've tried googling a bit but I've really only come across what people think or have heard. I'd like a bit more of an official source, though I don't mind what type of resource it is, online or physical.

Question 86479 asked on 2012-01-11 11:01:37

Hello. I am looking to read an academic paper called "A road runs through it: Aboriginal citizenship at the edge of urban development" From a journal called "Citizenship Studies" published in Volume 7, Number 4, December 2003 By Patricia K. Wood and I wasn't sure how I could get a copy to read. Is there any way of getting this in Calgary? Thanks for your time []
