I am trying to find newspaper articles about an issue I
remember from the late 1970's and early 1980's. There was
some controversy because elementary school students who were
being pulled out of their classes to receive dental
treatment, usually fillings, were found to be used for
practice by dental students even when dental services were
not required. Basically, the dental students needed to
practice fillings, so they would give fillings on the "baby
teeth" (which would later fall out) that actually were
cavity-free. These dental services were also paid by the
government, not individuals or families. This definitely
occurred in Regina, SK elementary schools in the early
1980's because I remember being sent for fillings while at
and my parents were angry when they read a newspaper article
about the above dental issue. Any newspaper article with
