What Is The AAQ Privacy Policy?

The Ask A Question service does not require personal information outside of what is required on the registration form. The service requires an accurate email address in order for us to respond to your question. The service also requires either your postal code or educational institution and your program of study. This enables us to map your question to the appropriate library. We may also request information on where you live. This will enable us to direct you toward resources that you will be able to access and, often times, allows us to easily clarify the question you are asking. The Ask A Question service will only publish your question and the answer we provide in the Q and A archive.

In many cases, the answer you will receive from Ask A Question will direct you to other Internet sites.  Please note that once you leave AAQ, you are bound by the privacy policy of the new site.
